Product Design Exhibition

Producto Fresco brings together 56 recent product design projects from Madrid, Euskadi and Navarra.

inaugurated on June 16, the exhibition expresses the value of design as a cultural and economic vector and is the result of collective work.

More than a hundred projects were evaluated by a selection committee made up of Martín Azúa, Tachy Mora, Granada Barrero and Hector Serrano.

Projects by established and emerging professionals and a set of pieces made by students dialogue with each other, creating a narrative that brings us closer to new languages and to formal and material experimentation.

This year EIDE — Basque Design Association/Euskal Diseinuaren Elkartea joins the project to bring the design of Euskadi and Navarra closer to Madrid.

This combination enriches synergies and interprofessional dialogues and underpins design as a cultural industry that contributes its conceptual, formal and usability contributions to society as a whole. And on the other hand, at DIMAD, we also want to highlight the strength and capacity of associations in the dissemination of the profession's work.

Fresh Product, in addition to giving visibility to the most contemporary design, helps to reinforce the potential of products to enter the commercial circuit and promote synergies with brands and companies that can join the distribution and/or marketing of those that are in the initial phase of launch.

Producto Fresco is a project organized and promoted by DIMAD with a grant from the Ministry of Culture, an institution that over time has supported this initiative, thus strengthening the design community and its most innovative proposals.

In addition, it is sponsored by UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology.
