1. Who is responsible for the processing of your data?
In accordance with current data protection regulations, we inform you that those responsible for processing your data are the Madrid Designers Association and the Madrid Design Foundation, with CIF: G84185073 and G84913698, respectively, and both with registered offices at Paseo de la Chopera, 14, 28045 Madrid.
2. For what purpose do we process your personal data?
At the Madrid Designers Association and the Madrid Design Foundation (Dimad), we process the information you provide us with the purpose of managing the contractual relationship that unites us, managing the sending of the information you request from us, providing information on our activities, and/or managing your registration to become a member.
3. How long will we keep your personal data?
Your data will be kept for the minimum time necessary for the correct provision of the service offered as well as to meet the responsibilities that may arise from it and from any other legal requirement.
4. What is the legitimacy for the processing of your data?
The legal basis for the processing of your personal data may be the execution of a potential and/or subscribed contractual relationship, the legitimate interest, the legal authorization, and/or the consent of the interested party.
We can process your personal data on different legal bases, depending on the purpose for which we collect them.
Consequently, the legitimation bases used are:
- To manage your registration as an associate, or your enrollment in any activity, the fulfillment of the contractual relationship.
- To manage the web registration of users: the requested consent and, and to analyze the use of the website, for example through cookies, the legitimate interest.
- To send promotional and advertising communications and provide you with personalized services; if you are an associate, the execution of the contractual relationship and legitimate interest. If you are not a customer and you only want us to send you a newsletter, the consent we request from you.
- For quality surveys or evaluations, legitimate interest.
In certain cases, we are required to process your personal data to comply with legal obligations.
In any case, the data we request from you are adequate, relevant and strictly necessary and under no circumstances are you obliged to provide them to us, but your non-communication may affect the purpose of the service or the impossibility of providing it.

Neither the Madrid Designers Association nor the Madrid Design Foundation (Dimad) will communicate your data to any third party, unless you are expressly informed of this or if there is a legal obligation.

- Right to rectification or deletion.

9. Security and updating of your personal data
In order to safeguard the security of your personal data, we inform you that the Madrid Designers Association and the Madrid Design Foundation (Dimad) have adopted all the necessary technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of the personal data provided. All this to avoid their alteration, loss, and/or unauthorized treatment or access, as required by regulations, although absolute security does not exist. It is important that, in order for us to keep your personal data up to date, you inform us whenever there is a change to them.
10. Confidentiality
The Madrid Designers Association and the Madrid Design Foundation (Dimad) inform you that your data will be treated with the utmost zeal and confidentiality by all personnel involved in any of the phases of the treatment. We will not transfer or communicate your data to any third party, except in legally provided cases, or unless the interested party has expressly authorized us.
